The Kalinzu Forest Reserve, covering an area of 137km2, is located in the south-western Uganda (S 0o17', E30O7'). It borders the Maramagambo Forest, which is a part of Queen Elizabeth National Park, and the total area of these two forest is 580km2.

There are good roads from Kampala to Kalinzu and it takes only 5-6 hours to come from Kampala by car.
